Whatever her
reputation, Ruby Tucker was a lady when it came to decorating. Her
tastes favored elegance! On her various trips to the East, Ruby
acquired exquisite furniture and fine china.
A prize possession of the Ruby House
is a collection of Charles Russell prints. Russell, world-renowned
western artist, expressed the deep feelings of Native Americans
and the original settlers alike with his vivid portrayals of frontier
life. Through his paintings, the problems and progress of the two
cultures come alive.
The Ruby House and the Red Garter Saloon also
have one of the largest antique gun collections on display in the
Black Hills.
While you are enjoying our hospitality, you
may view the “Paha Ska Room” filled with many Native American Indian
artifacts. |
